Ideal for the spring season, this modern and refreshing Chardonnay offers flavours of ripe peach and dried fruits, complemented by hints of cedar and almond complexity.
This single vineyard Chardonnay, situated on the Harvey plains, was harvested during the cool night hours and pressed early in the morning. The fermentation process took place in stainless steel tanks, with the wine left on yeast lees during maturation. A blend of French oak barrels and staves was employed to enrich the fruity notes.
Presenting a medium straw colour with a subtle green hue, the wine delivers ripe peach and dried fruit flavours, alongside cedar and almond complexities. It is slightly off-dry, featuring a well-balanced natural acidity, and a lingering combination of dried pineapple and peeled almond that persists through to the finish.
